we started off the day with a walk to the palanke..


it was hot.


pit stop at the atm.




out of nowhere, there was a little kid parade.


they were dressed up in different national costumes.


we were dressed as sweaty canadians.


met up with some americanas!

everybody has a bike. they cost $500 canadian, about $560 american. i know.


tricycles take you everywhere, and no matter the distance, it costs 16 cents.


hey! how come no one bought me a flower?!


my moms buddy kept the c2 and beer flowin.


alex and i snuck away to check out the church which was right across the street from the market..my mom went to church here as a little girl.


it was huuuuge.


the sculptures were amazing.


the pictures don't do it justice, the moss might make it look a little grim, but in life, it gives it character.
