BLOOD FLOOD YA EYE, FUCK UP YA OPTICS.

i know i'm supposed to be posting about new york right now, but i will not! my internet went down. my tv burned out (no more tv). the escape button on my blackberry isn't working. & my eye is swollen.. cuz god seems to think i can afford this kind of a situation right now.

i ain't mad at cha god. i also bought jeans that were LABELED my size, but upon reading the tag, and trying to fit them over my bum, i realized that they were a size smaller. i don't know how to feel about that.. lose the weight, return them, or have rude feelings toward the person who labeled them wrong.. HOW DO I FEEL?!

it isn't wednesday, but cot damn mother fucker does it feel like one. 17 minutes til jersey shore. that's aaalll that matters right now. new york coming soon! swear.

BACK TO LIFE, BACK TO REALITY.

so i'm back home and i can not say i'm pleased. haha. i mean, sure, i've missed my bed.. but now that my boyfriend's gone, i'm living alllll by myself.. which blows balls. i haven't un-packed, and realistically, i don't think i will til the end of the week. i go back to work tomorrow and i am not stoked. i just got a letter from my xm radio, who told me i haven't paid my past two months. i added two gift cards to my last payment, so i didn't know it missed two months. oops. add that to some long distance cell phone charges, some new york credit card debt, college textbooks, and it looks like i'm going to be m.i.a. for awhile.
it was nice being away from everyone and their yaps. it was nice spending time with people that actually mean something to me. rock the bells was ape shit, and so was new york.
.. but i can't possibly pour all of my adventures into one post. so for the rest of september, i will be straying away from usual blogging, and i'll be putting forward new york. i've gotten a tan from the CNE and lost five pounds thanks to being a new yorker. waddup, i'm not ready to say goodbye to the good life. so i'll say pause. time to get $$$ whilst ignoring the phone calls that tell me to party. yo chill son, i just wanna hang out, listen to some good rap and blog and shit. new york was loud enough.

YOU BEST PROTECT YA NECK.

NEW YORK LESSON #5: wu-tang is enough to push aside passing out and stand your fucking ground. no matter how many times you fade in and out.

MIDNIGHT NOM NOMS.

the other night lex and i were walking around time square. we fell upon this really quaint italian/greek bakery. we got some freshly squeezed orange juice, some baklava, and an eclaire. the owner then handed us cannolis as a free token of appreciation. we grabbed a table in times square and had some late night chit chat. we were both extremely tired and bitchy, but were able to sit there in absolute calmness while the city bustled around us.
a few kids between the ages of 14-18 were rapping at the top of their lungs to anyone who would listen. every third or fourth word was "nigga" or "fucka" or "weed", yet 40 year old soccer moms could not get enough image of them on their video tapes.. and as his hand grabbed mine, i thought "new york has never sounded so calm".

NEW YORK LESSON #3: no matter how loud it gets, you can still hear the silence.

NEW YORK LESSON #4: cannolis taste better when they're free.. and when a guy from scarborough is holding your hand.

NEW YORK BE WHYLIN'

NEW YORK LESSON #1: whistling is more common than breathing.

NEW YORK LESSON #2: 75% of manhattan households don't own cars. 50% of all of new york households don't own cars. population of new york: 8 million people.

lovelovelove new york.
