MARINA & ULAY.

Marina and Ulay are two artists who at one point, shared a marriage. As much as they were in love, they were also an art duo in the 70's. However, at one point they felt mutually that it was time to part ways. They did that in this most beautiful way possible. They chose to walk the Great Wall of China, each would start at one end. Once they met at the middle, they gave each other a hug and never saw each other again.
More than 30 years later, Marina performed a piece called "The Artist is Present". The 2010 MoMA piece was Marina in a room, at a table. Here she sat with numerous strangers and shared a single minute of silence with them. The biggest surprise? Ulay showed up to the table. Her first love, her first romance, and a man she hadn't seen in years arrived without her knowing. The following video shows what happened:
